| The MK Ballast hoppers were used for MOW on the ARR. I acquired undecorated HO scale M& K 70 ton ballast cars from Eastern Car Works 480-1580. Decals were from Roundhouse Hobbies, Champ decals( lube plates), Microscale Freight Data (wheel inspection plates) #87-463. I assembled the cars, painted them oxide red and applied a final gloss coat. |
